Due to a high volume of SSL and Hort applications, initial and comprehensive review timeframes are currently extended by 10 days each. Beginning April 11, review priority will be given to applications updating V5.0 products to V5.1, which may also impact review timeframes for all other SSL application types. The DLC is pleased to release the final version of SSL Testing and Reporting Requirements for Field-Adjustable Light Distribution Products. This Technical Requirements update consists of a new policy that allows high performance, energy efficient field-adjustable light distribution products to be qualified and listed on the DLC SSL QPL. Please register for a webinar to review the new requirements here.

This revision has been added to the SSL Technical Requirements as part of Version 4.4 and goes into effect immediately (Wednesday, March 7, 2019).
 

Testing and Reporting Requirements for Field-Adjustable Light Distribution Products

  • Field-adjustable light distribution products are products where the distribution of light can be adjusted in the field.
  • This capability allows manufacturers and distributors to capture greater economies of scale and stock fewer SKUs, reducing manufacturing and distribution costs while providing installers and customers greater flexibility.
