Update Listed Systems

NLC Update Applications

Updating Listed Systems to NLC5:

  • All currently-qualified products must be updated to meet the NLC5 Technical Requirements or they will be delisted from the QPL at the end of the grace period on February 28, 2022.
  • To avoid delisting, please complete and submit update applications by February 21, 2022 at the latest.
  • The application submission process to update system listing is the same as the initial qualification process. The step by step instructions is described here.
  • Web presentation of the system is not required for updates.

Updating Nomenclature/Brand Name

Update Nomenclature/Brand Name for OEM systems

  • To update system nomenclature or brand name, manufacturers must provide the following:
    • A signed statement on company letterhead that certifies no changes were made to the system (only to nomenclature/brand name), and briefly describes the reason for the nomenclature change.
    • Provide the updated marketing materials with the revised brand/system name.
    • Completed Nomenclature Update Form (download at bottom of webpage)
    • There is no cost to update your existing brand name nomenclature on the QPLs.

Updating Nomenclature/Brand Name for Private Label Systems

  • To update nomenclature or brand name for systems qualified via the Private Label application process, manufacturers must provide the following:
    • A signed statement on company letterhead that certifies no changes were made to the system (only to nomenclature/brand name), and briefly describes the reason for the nomenclature change.
    • Completed Nomenclature Update Form (download at bottom of webpage).
    • Updated Private Label Agreement form that reflects the nomenclature/brand name change (download at bottom of webpage).
